Quadra Island has about 3500 residents. It has 2 main centers, each offering a well stocked grocery store. There is a pharmacy, medical clinic, 2 pubs, about 20 lakes, restaurants, beaches, post office, gym and wellness centre and so much more.

Guide accommodation is easy to find and very reasonably priced. Town access is by 10 minute ferry and goes every hour.
